August News at The Grill

Saturday Brunch begins on August 15th, from 11 am to 2 pm with a delicious menu that includes Eggs Benedict, Migas, French Toast, Almond Crusted Trout, Tenderloin. My favorite? I cajole the chef into making me Beef Tenderloin Benedicts, yum. And to start the day off right we will be featuring Mimosas, Bellinis and Bloody Marys for $5.95. I'm busily typing the menu, once done I'll share it with you here.

August's Food and Wine Dinner features the cuisine of Argentina, with wines complimenting each course selected by Greg LaBlanc, Regional Director of Gaucho Imports. These dinners have been so popular that we are expanding this five course dinner to two nights, Monday August 24th AND Tuesday August 25th. Reception begins at 6:30, seating is limited and reservations are required, $59.95 per person (plus tax and gratuity). August's Cocktail of the Month, the Dripping Springs Rickey was a huge hit with the waitstaff who tested the bartender's recipes! House-made raspberry simple syrup, fresh lime juice and Dripping Springs vodka make this a killer chiller for a warm summer. And a great price at $7.95!

Our featured fresh product for August is the peach, delicious, sweet, the perfect compliment to cream. So after dinner enjoy our August special dessert, Peach Romanoff a deliciously light, cool dessert with fresh peaches folded in and an almond cookie on the side.
